Terms and conditions

These terms apply when you commission an invitation from You Are Invited, a sole proprietorship operated by Anubhav Jain(“we”, “us”). Paying the advance means you accept them.
What we provide
A wedding invitation designed for your wedding and delivered as a web link, together with print-ready files. Where agreed, we provide separate links for different guest groups. We provide digital services only: we do not print, stock or ship anything.
Quotes and scope
We quote based on the details you give us: the number of functions, the creative scope, and any add-ons. A quote is valid for 30 days. If the scope changes afterwards (more functions, more guest groups, a second edition) we will quote the difference before doing the work.
Payment
- 50% of the agreed price is payable before we begin
- The balance is payable on delivery, before the final links are handed over
- All prices are in Indian Rupees and exclusive of any applicable taxes
What we need from you
We can only work from what you give us. You are responsible for the accuracy of the names, dates, timings, venues and any other details you provide, and for approving them before the invitation goes live. Delay in providing details or approval will move the delivery date.
Timeline
Typical turnaround is 7 to 10 working days from confirmation, including your review. This depends on you responding at each stage. If you have a fixed date by which invitations must go out, tell us before you pay the advance so we can confirm it is achievable.
Revisions and approval
Two rounds of refinements are included. You review the invitation privately and nothing is shared with guests until you approve it. Once approved, corrections to mistakes we made are always free; further changes are quoted separately.
Hosting your invitation
We host your invitation and keep it available through your wedding and for a reasonable period afterwards. If you would like it taken offline sooner, tell us and we will remove it. We may need to move it to a different address for technical reasons, and we will tell you if that happens.
We aim to keep invitations available at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access, as parts of the service depend on third-party hosting and networks.
Ownership
On full payment, you may use the delivered invitation and files for your wedding: share the links with guests, and print the files for your own stationery. We retain ownership of the underlying design system, artwork and software used to create and run the invitation. Source artwork and print masters are not transferred.
We do not publish your name or your invitation. We may describe the work anonymously, including general design directions or aggregated usage numbers, without identifying you.
Your content
You confirm you have the right to give us the names, photographs and other material you send, and that using them does not infringe anyone else’s rights. We may decline material we consider unlawful or offensive.

Liability
We take care to get details right and to keep invitations available, but our total liability in connection with your order is limited to the amount you have paid us. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for details you supplied and approved that later turn out to be wrong.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version in force is the one published when you paid your advance, and the date at the top of this page shows when it last changed.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
